In particular, the enemy tried to restore the lost position in the areas of the settlements of Grigorovka, Klishchievka and Andreevka in the Bakhmut and Maryinsky directions. Thus, the Russians carried out more than 15 unsuccessful attacks in the Marinka and Krasnogorovka areas of the Donetsk region. All enemy attacks were unsuccessful. At the same time, the Ukrainian military is storming the positions of the invaders south of Bakhmut, inflicting losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, and gaining a foothold on the achieved lines. This is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for October 5.
In the Kupyansky direction, the Defense Forces repelled an enemy attack in the area north of Zybin, Kharkov region. It was also hot in the Liman direction, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled seven enemy attacks in areas east of Makeyevka, Luhansk region and north-west of Dibrova, Donetsk region.
Attacks by enemy units were also repelled in the areas of Zolotaya Niva and Rivnopil in the Donetsk region and Novodarivka, Verbovoy and Robotiny in the Zaporozhye region.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive in the Melitopol and Bakhmut directions. And in the Kherson direction there is a counter-battery fight, enemy warehouses are being destroyed.
On Wednesday, October 4, Air Force aircraft carried out 13 strikes on areas where enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated. And the missile forces attacked the Russian command post, three areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, ten artillery weapons and the enemy’s ammunition stock.
