A fire broke out in Russian Krasnoyarsk on Wednesday, October 4. A column of fire was seen at the Krasnoyarsk aluminum plant. According to Telegram channels, an explosion was heard before the fire.
“Eyewitnesses report a serious fire on the territory of KrAZ. They also report hearing an explosion before the fire,” the report said.
The incident was confirmed by RUSAL, which owns the plant. They said there was no explosion, but the transformer was on fire.
The fire covered an area of 50 square meters. According to preliminary information, no one was killed or injured.
