Accident in Venice: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the death of Ukrainians

Currently, five Ukrainian citizens are known to have died and three were injured as a result of a traffic accident.

Among the victims of the bus accident in Venice were five Ukrainians, three others were injured. It was reported on October 4 Suspilne with reference to the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleg Nikolenko.

“According to the available information, a tourist bus with 40 passengers fell from an overpass and fell from a height of about 30 meters. Now five Ukrainians are known to have died, three more were injured. They are receiving the necessary hospital medical care,” he said.

According to a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ukrainian consuls are in contact with Italian law enforcement officials to clarify all the circumstances of the accident. In addition, diplomatic departments monitor the treatment of Ukrainian citizens and establish contact with relatives.

We remind you that on October 3 in Venice, a passenger bus fell from an overpass onto the tracks running along the highway. As a result of the accident, 21 people died and 18 were injured.

Earlier, Italian media reported that among the victims there were citizens of Ukraine.
