On Tuesday, October 3, the first meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for rapid response and ensuring normal living conditions for the population during possible power outages was held. The main goal was a timely response to all emergencies occurring in the country. The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko reported this on Telegram.
According to the minister, the action plan contains a number of directions. The main ones are the strengthening of patrols by police groups, the provision of generators to medical facilities and critical infrastructure, and the functioning of invincibility points.
Klimenko noted that this is not a complete list of measures. He noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs knows how to respond to such calls.
Based on the experience of last year, we have already prepared an action plan in case of long-term power outages,” he wrote.
Let us remind you that the Cabinet of Ministers is developing rules that will prohibit turning off the lights for six categories of citizens who are vulnerable consumers. Such a resolution will be in effect in the event of schedules and blackouts.
