Sarec also mentioned that Slovenian authorities know that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin will go further if he is not stopped in Ukraine.
Slovenia has provided Ukraine with enough armored vehicles to form an armored brigade (about 90 armored vehicles). This is what Slovenian Defense Minister Marjan Sarec said at the Warsaw Security Forum.
“Slovenia was one of the first to help Ukraine. We provided equipment at the level of an armored brigade,” he said.
Sarec added that Slovenian authorities know that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin will go further if he is not stopped in Ukraine.
According to him, against such a background, the door to NATO should remain open, especially for the Western Balkans.
Earlier, the media wrote that Slovenia secretly brought 20 armored personnel carriers to Ukraine.
Slovenia has also reportedly joined G7 guarantees for Ukraine.
