The initiatives of the partners and other proposals will be integrated into a roadmap for change, explained the head of government.
The Government of Ukraine has started working on a unified Reform Plan until 2027. Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal said this at a government meeting on Tuesday, October 3.
“Today we are launching work on a unified Reform Plan until 2027. We will integrate partners’ initiatives and other proposals into a roadmap of changes. The plan will cover all areas that affect the government institutions, economy and interaction with civil society,” he said.
According to Shmygal, the authorities received from the partners a number of documents with proposals for reforms – from seven recommendations of the European Union to a list of structural beacons of the IMF.
“For our part, at the initiative of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, a concept was developed to strengthen the maintenance of democracy. We have already given this document to our allies. Now we are starting to create a single document,” he says .
The Prime Minister emphasized that the Reform Plan will be part of the future Ukrainian doctrine, the basis of which was outlined by the President in his speech to the Verkhovna Rada.
“Reforms will be the foundation of our success and the key to successful recovery and growth,” concluded Shmyhal.
Let’s recall that on September 28, Shmygal conveyed to US Ambassador Bridget Brink the Concept of strengthening the sustainability of democracy in Ukraine. In this regard, Ukraine received a list of reforms. First of all, we are talking about reforms aimed at fighting corruption.
