A video was uploaded online in which a Ukrainian military officer told the management of the Russian Uralvagonzavod about the problems with the captured T-72B3 tank.
A Ukrainian tankman with the call sign “Nomad” from the K-2 battalion of the 54th separate mechanized brigade called the Russian tank developers and said they were in poor technical condition. The video was published on the Ukrainian Militant Telegram channel.
In particular, Nomad reached out to the alleged developer of the T-72B3M tanks, whose name is Alexander Anatolyevich, and said that the tank’s engine “blew oil” and “the compressor did not pump atmosphere in the cylinders.”
“Among other technical problems is the rotation mechanism of the tower. After the electrical equipment failed, the military was forced to rotate it using mechanical drives,” the Ukrainian complained.
In response, a representative of Uralvagonzavod promised to discuss these problems with the design bureau in Nizhny Tagil and said he would contact the tank engine manufacturer in Chelyabinsk.
“Nomad” also contacted the General Director of Uralvagonzavod Andrey Abakumov. A Ukrainian officer revealed problems with the T-72B3M tank. Where Abakumov asked to describe everything on WhatsApp and promised to discuss the problems in detail with the car designers.
At the end, “Nomad” added that he was from the 54th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and asked the director to make the T-72 tanks better, so that when they got them, they wouldn’t be in such bad shape.
We remind you that Poland transferred a batch of repaired Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine.
As we wrote earlier, the first batch of American-made Abrams tanks arrived in Ukraine.
In addition, the media said that the US authorities are considering the possibility of transferring dozens more Abrams tanks to Ukraine.
