Kyiv police are establishing the circumstances surrounding the fall of a girl and a guy from the balcony of a high-rise building. The victims died on the spot from their injuries. Law enforcement officers are carrying out priority investigative actions to establish all the circumstances of the incident.

The tragedy occurred on October 2 at 12:00. The metropolitan police received information that near a high-rise building on Nikolsko-Slobodskaya Street, passers-by found two people without signs of life, who probably crashed as a result of a fall from the 24th floor.
Previously, a video appeared online in which a guy and a girl claim that they are preparing to commit suicide. In one of her videos, the girl claims that they are sober and did not use anything, and that they had been planning their suicide since last Monday.
Police previously established that the deceased were brother and sister, born in 2005 and 2006. Currently, police are communicating with eyewitnesses of the incident, and are also identifying relatives and friends of the victims.
The investigative department of the Dnieper Department began criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (murder) with a mark – suicide. The bodies of the victims have been sent for forensic examination.
