Moldova and Romania will hold joint sessions of parliaments

In particular, as Moldovan Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu said after meeting with his Romanian counterpart Ion-Marcel Colacu, the meeting is supposed to take place in Chisinau, but no exact date is yet available.

“We are organizing the first joint meeting of the parliaments of Romania and Moldova. I am pleased to announce that it will be held in Chisinau. This is a clear sign of support for the current government,” said Igor Grosu.

In addition, Grosu turned to Colak. He said Romania “has always been on the side of Moldova.” He added that together they can make the history of their countries.

During his visit to Chisinau, Ion-Marcel Colacu will meet with President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita. The parties intend to discuss the situation in the region, security on the Moldovan borders and a possible solution to the problem of freight transport queues on the Moldovan-Romanian border.
