In this educational institution, children can study even during missile attacks. The school will also meet modern regulatory requirements for protective structures. The mayor of Kharkov Igor Terekhov reported this on Telegram.
Such a shelter will allow thousands of Kharkov children to continue safe in-person education even during missile threats,” the mayor noted.
As you know, training classes appeared in the Kharkov metro in September. There are enough underground classrooms for 60 classrooms, which are located at five metro stations. The city has already called it a “metro school.”
Let us remind you that Russian war criminals from time to time strike Ukrainian educational institutions. In particular, on September 16, the Russian army fired at the lyceum in the village of Lvov, Tyagin community, Kherson region. The building’s wall and roof were damaged and windows were broken.
