In the parliamentary elections in Slovakia, according to the exit poll, the Progressive Slovakia party leads with a result of 23.5%. The Guardian writes about it.
In second place is the SMER-SD party of Robert Fico with a result of 21.9%. Third is Peter Pellegrini’s Voice party with a support level of 12.2%.
The pro-European party Progressive Slovakia, led by Michal Šimečko, supports Ukraine, in contrast to Robert Fico’s left-wing party SMER-SD, which supports Russia and has threatened to cut military aid to Ukraine.
The released exit poll was conducted by the Focus agency for TV Markíza.
