Kievavtodor stated that the contractor is responsible for the work at the site. A spokesman for the beam manufacturer said in a comment that there were no problems with the quality of the beams, six of them were installed correctly, but an incident occurred during the installation of the last one.
According to the KSCA, during installation the last beam lost stability and caught part of the already installed structure, which led to the fall of the remaining six beams.
In January 2023, a temporary traffic scheme was introduced on the Degtyarevsky overpass. There, workers of the Kievavtodorgorod municipal enterprise carried out the bulk of the emergency work and prepared a solution for large-scale reconstruction.
The project started in mid-June 2023. The work was supposed to continue until November 30. During the work, traffic at the interchange was organized according to the turbine principle, with travel provided in all directions.
In the first week of work, road workers dismantled 13 beams of the building. It is expected that after the renovation the Degtyarevsky overpass will be higher and wider. It will have bicycle paths and sidewalks for pedestrians.
A major renovation of the street has also begun. Alexandra Dovzhenko.
