Yerevan is abusing the International Court of Justice to implement its insidious political agenda, Baku believes.
Azerbaijan has accused Armenia of inciting hatred over a case filed at the UN court in The Hague. This was said by the spokesperson of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Aykhan Hajizadeh, Report reported on Saturday, September 30.
According to him, these lawsuits aimed at inciting racial hatred against Azerbaijanis are completely unacceptable. They also indicate that Armenia does not give in to attempts to attack the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan.
“Like the UN Security Council case, Armenia is abusing the International Court of Justice to advance its insidious political agenda. This is the third time this year alone that Armenia has gone to the court. Let’s note that in the three petitions that filed by Armenia in January, two were rejected, one partially, and the petitions filed in May were unanimously rejected by the judges. The Azerbaijani side will present to the court a position that will show consistent responses to the this new baseless claim of Armenia,” Hajizade assured.
Earlier on Saturday it became known that Armenia filed a case against Azerbaijan at the International Court of Justice for violating the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, accusing it of violating the rights of Armenians in Nagorno- Karabakh.
As you know, more than 100 thousand people have already left Karabakh for Armenia.
