The Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, together with the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, conducted a successful special operation to evacuate two paratroopers from the temporarily occupied territory of one of the regions of Ukraine. For several weeks, fleet intelligence received information that two DShV fighters have been in temporarily occupied territory since the beginning of the Russian invasion. The Navy announced this on Facebook on September 30.
During the battles with the invaders, the paratroopers were seriously injured and were unable to independently enter the territory controlled by Ukraine. All this time they successfully hid, local residents helped them in this.
The command decided to conduct a special operation to rescue and evacuate the fighters, and it was carried out by the special forces of the Navy “Angels” and soldiers of the Air Assault Forces, who provided fire cover during the group’s exit.
The other day, two servicemen who had been in the occupied territory for more than a year and a half were taken to territory controlled by Ukraine.
Let us remind you that the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andrei Kostin said that Russia has built a developed system of torture and cruel treatment of captured Ukrainians. There are many dungeons in the temporarily occupied territories and almost 90% of Ukrainian prisoners of war went through torture.
