The Alliance of Defense Industries will be created in Ukraine; manufacturers of weapons and military equipment from all over the world can join it, and the first 13 companies have already become participants.

Ukraine has already developed a basic declaration as the basis of the alliance. And it can be joined by foreign manufacturers who share the intention of providing real protection from aggression in the risky conditions of our time. President Vladimir Zelensky announced this on September 30 in Kyiv during the Defense Industries Forum, the speech was broadcast on the head of state’s Facebook page.
According to Zelensky, Ukraine is creating the world’s first naval drone fleet, which “deprives Russian warships of meaning and forces them to hide.” Ukrainian enterprises also began producing 155 mm guns and shells. And anti-tank missile systems produced in Ukraine are longer-range and safer to operate than a number of other analogues.
We are interested in localizing the production of equipment necessary for our defense, and each of the advanced defense systems that are used by our soldiers and give Ukraine the best results at the front today,” Zelensky emphasized.
Let us recall that in September, Mike McCord, responsible for financial reporting at the Pentagon, said that the US Department of Defense has $5 billion worth of weapons for the Ukrainian Armed Forces by the end of 2023, but only $1.6 billion to replace it.
