The Verkhovna Rada has registered draft law No. 10092, which proposes to cancel the admission of applicants for bachelor’s and master’s degrees in higher education through evening and part-time education for 2024. This was reported on the website of the Ukrainian parliament.
The authors of the law propose to develop technologies for distance learning in Ukraine and orient educational institutions towards this. Because the experience of using distance education was supposedly positive.
Lawmakers are also proposing an additional 2024 enrollment freeze for associate’s degree programs. And competitive selection for training to obtain other degrees of higher education is carried out based on the results of an external independent assessment in 2021 and/or entrance examinations in 2022-2024.
Let us recall that in early September, MP from the Servant of the People party Fyodor Venislavsky registered a bill that could cancel the deferment from mobilization for men over 30 years of age who are receiving an inconsistent higher education or a second or more.
