The main points of this approach will be outlined in a document that will be presented to President Vladimir Zelensky during a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Headquarters.
Ukrainian authorities and the military are working on a strategy for the de-occupation of Ukrainian territories from Russian troops. We are talking, in particular, about Donbass and Crimea. The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexey Danilov stated this on Friday, September 29, in an interview with Natalya Moseychuk.
“In one of the meetings of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Headquarters recently, the president asked for an understanding of how we will liberate our entire territory, our entire country, and what it will look like, and what is needed for this,” said the politician.
He noted that “a lot of work” is happening on the document and after its completion the strategy will be presented to Headquarters and, if necessary, to other circles.
Danilov added that this plan will be common to all Ukrainian territories temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation.
“It is inappropriate to develop separate strategies for the de-occupation of each of the regions and Crimea,” he said.
Earlier, President Vladimir Zelensky spoke about what Ukraine’s victory would look like. According to him, in the future, any attempts by an aggressor country to return to our territory should not exceed the sick imagination of those harboring such plans.
Ukraine has the ability to liberate the temporarily occupied Crimea from the Russians with the weapons it already has.
