A “Ukrainian drone” allegedly dropped explosives on a substation, cutting off electricity in five settlements.
The governor of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, Roman Starovoyt, said that on the night of September 29, the region was subjected to a massive attack by “Ukrainian drones”; one of them allegedly dropped explosives at a substation in the Belovsky district.
“In Belaya settlement, Belovsky district, a Ukrainian drone dropped two explosive devices on a substation. One of the transformers caught fire. Five settlements and one hospital were cut off,” he wrote on Telegram.
Later, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the air defense forces “destroyed 11 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, one of them in the territory of the Kaluga region and ten in the Kursk region.”
We remind you that on September 26, seven settlements in the Kursk region were left without electricity supply due to the attack of a “Ukrainian drone” on a substation in the Korenevsky district.
