Fragments of the rocket were found in a lake near the Moldovan village of Farladan, Causeni region. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moldova.
Experts arrived at the scene to investigate the found debris. Law enforcement officials have cordoned off the area and are conducting necessary research and underwater work.
The General Inspectorate of Emergency Situations said that the rocket fragments in the lake were discovered by local residents on September 27. A group of rescuers was sent to the reservoir, but work was suspended for the night. On the morning of September 28, the search for all parts of the rocket continued.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moldova said that there is no danger to the population, the territory is isolated, and the first houses are located one kilometer from the danger zone.
