The SBU has collected evidence on collaborator Valentin Rybin, who now heads the so-called organizational and legal department of the Russian Ministry of Information Policy in the Kherson region. This man was once the personal lawyer of Medvedchuk and Shariy, who are suspected of treason. The SB press center reported this on July 27.
Law enforcement officers established that at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, he left Ukraine and wrote a post on Facebook from abroad, where he called on Ukrainians to stop resisting the occupiers. And then he came to the occupied Kherson region, where he got a job with the invaders.
Currently, the attacker is massively distributing Kremlin propaganda. He also joined the pro-Putin United Russia party, from which he tried to “run” for the so-called “legislative assembly of the Kherson region” this fall.
The defendant has already been informed of suspicion under Part 5 of Art. 111-1 (collaboration activities) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Comprehensive measures are ongoing to bring him to justice for crimes against our state.
Let us recall that in September the Security Service of Ukraine reported suspicions of high treason against Ukrainian blogger Yuriy Podolyats under martial law. Investigators believe he was aiming Russian missiles at Nikolaev.
