The Food Train is capable of autonomously, in the absence of light, producing up to 70 thousand servings of food in a week.
“Last winter, railway stations became centers of heating and nutrition for all Ukrainians in the front-line regions, where blackouts are regular. This year, in addition to the stations, we have created an entire train capable of producing more than 10 thousand servings of food per day anywhere and at any time”, said the message.
The Food Train can operate autonomously for 5-7 days, and the train’s equipment allows you to prepare a full meal: soups, cereals, salads, meat, etc. It has passed the test.
The train reportedly consisted of six cars under the locomotive:

generator car (~400 kW + own gas station for autonomous operation);

a refrigerator car with a freezer for storing food;

a carriage with a cold kitchen for pre-processing food;

a carriage with a hot kitchen for preparing the last meals;

train staff carriage with shower and washing machine;

luggage car for 27 thousand liters of water with filtration and pumping station.
