Senate Candidate Says Trump Supports Gun Violence is ‘Black People, Frankly’ –

Blake Masters, the Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in Arizona who supports former President Donald Trump, said gun violence is a major racial issue.

“We have a problem with gun violence in this country and that is gang violence.” The Masters narrated the podcast on “The Jeff Oravits Show” in comments in April. Seen this week by The Daily Beast.

“These people are shooting at each other in Chicago, St. Louis.” Often, you know, blacks, honestly, “Masters said.” And Democrats don’t want to do anything about it. here. “

A few weeks after his comments, 10 black shoppers were killed in a mass shooting in Buffalo, New York. The suspect, who was white, was allegedly Black targets at the time of his murder. He also allegedly believes in a “replacement theory,” a conspiracy theory that has spread among conservative media groups such as Fox News.

As The Daily Beast noted, the Masters promoted the same theory, arguing that Democrats are trying to replace white voters by switching to people of color.

“Obviously, Democrats are hoping to just change our nation’s demographics,” the Masters said on the Patriot Edition podcast. According to the Associated Press. “They hope to bring in a completely new voter. Then they call you a racist and a bigot”.

Arizona will hold the premiere on August 2nd.
