Cooperation with neighbors can and should be very constructive, and Ukraine is doing everything for this, the politician emphasized.
Ukraine is gradually “removing emotions” on the subject of grain export and entering into “fully constructive” work with partners. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced this on Monday, September 25, in an evening speech.
He said he met with officials and the Presidential Office for Grain Exports of Ukraine: “We coordinated additional measures and recorded the results achieved.”
The President emphasized that the European Commission supports the roadmap for mutual monitoring of grain exports.
“We are gradually removing emotions on this topic. Cooperation with neighbors can and should be very helpful, and Ukraine is doing everything for this,” he said.
Zelensky also expressed gratitude to Ukraine’s partners who did not violate EU trade rules and the Association Agreement.
“We expect the same constructive joint work as in Bulgaria and Romania from other neighboring countries. The European Union is a space for mutual understanding and cooperation. This is how it should be,” he said.
We remind you that on September 15, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary unilaterally introduced a national ban on the import of agricultural products from Ukraine.
