Protests against the surrender of unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh continue in Yerevan: demonstrators demand the resignation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

In the Armenian capital, Yerevan, opposition representatives announced a general act of defiance from 8 am on September 25. They promised to “paralyze the city.” Radio Liberty wrote this on Sunday, September 24.

“Representatives of the Armenian opposition held another rally in Republic Square in Yerevan, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in connection with his Nagorno-Karabakh policy,” the report said.

It was noted that the opposition leaders announced acts of defiance in the next three days.

“We have to take to the streets, raise the level of disobedience so much that the government falls to its knees,” said Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a member of the opposition Ayastan faction.

Protests against the surrender of unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh continued for several days in Yerevan: demonstrators are demanding the resignation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and the opposition is calling on the regions to join the protests of capital.

As you know, on Tuesday, September 19, Azerbaijan announced the start of “local measures against terrorism” in Nagorno-Karabakh.

After that, the operation of the Azerbaijani army in the region began. However, Armenia did not send its army there. The Azerbaijani operation ended a day later.

Armenians criticized the authorities, including Nikol Pashinyan. In addition, protests began in the streets of the Armenian capital Yerevan.
