The President on Friday, September 22, met with the Prime Minister of Canada: Trudeau announced the granting of a new aid package to Ukraine.

Canada intends to help Ukraine restore the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station and rebuild the Kaniv hydroelectric power station. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced this on Sunday, September 24, reporting the results of his visit to Canada.

He mentioned that in the past week several economic agreements were signed with the United States and Canada. According to him, this is an indicator that these countries are interested in cooperation with Ukraine.

“We have economic agreements – both with governments and businesses. There is a decision on a free trade zone in Canada. In Washington, there is a memorandum on cooperation in the energy sector. In Ottawa, there is an agreement on the renewal of Kakhovskaya hydroelectric station and the reconstruction of Kanevskaya. There is obvious interest from large companies and the United States , and Canada to work in Ukraine,” said the head of state.

As already written, US President Joe Biden approved a new aid package for Ukraine. It will include artillery, ammunition and anti-tank weapons.
