In particular, near the village of Cossack Camps in the Kherson region, for the first time during a full-scale war, a Russian MT-LB with launchers of the Soviet flamethrower-flammable shipborne complex A-22 “Ogon” was destroyed. The corresponding photos were published on social networks.
It is noted that the enemy’s MT-LB could have been disabled by an FPV drone or a drone with the ability to drop ammunition. The photo shows a burnt body of the car, which may indicate a defeat.
The Russians had such MLRS in service in June 2023. The A-22 “Fire” is a 140 mm caliber flamethrower-flammable ship-mounted system designed to arm air-cushion landing craft. The maximum range of this shooting is more than 9 km, it is designed to destroy lightly armored vehicles and infantry.
Journalist Yuri Butusov noted in Telegram that the fighters of the Combined Detachment of UAV groups under General Marchenko worked professionally.
Let us remind you that the Ukrainian military discovered a camouflaged Russian 152-mm 2A36 Giatsint-B cannon on the battlefield and destroyed it. The moment of disposal of enemy military equipment was captured on video.
