Sources in the Main Intelligence Directorate told RBC-Ukraine that an oil refinery near the Kursk airfield was hit.
The Ukrainian drone attacked not only the building of the Russian FSB in Kursk: another object was attacked by the drone. This was announced on Sunday, September 24, by RBC-Ukraine, citing its sources in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.
The media said there was another attack, which resulted in a hit on an oil refinery near the local airport.
Behind these events, Kursk Mayor Igor Kutsak announced on Telegram the cancellation of the fireworks display for City Day.
“In connection with recent events, it was decided to cancel the display of fireworks in honor of City Day. I believe that this will be justified from the point of view of peace and safety of residents,” the Russian official wrote.
As we wrote earlier on Sunday, a Ukrainian drone hit the building of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation in the center of Kursk.
