Russian media reported this today, September 23.
The decree on the appointment of Rogozin was signed by collaborator Evgeniy Balitsky, who today was confirmed in the position of “governor of the Zaporozhye region.”
Rogozin himself also announced this in his Telegram channel, saying that it was “an honor for him to protect the interests of the Zaporozhye region.”
Rogozin served as head of Roscosmos until July 2022. In November 2022, he announced that he had created a group of military advisers “Royal Wolves”, which is engaged in “military-technical support for combat units” of the so-called LDPR.
Let us recall that in December 2022, Rogozin was wounded as a result of shelling of a restaurant in Donetsk, where he was celebrating his birthday.
