In the Kyiv region, a serviceman of the territorial center for recruitment and social support was exposed for illegally storing an arsenal of weapons and ammunition.

The press service of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on September 23.
It is noted that 22 searches were carried out in apartments, commercial buildings and cars. Deleted:
- machine guns;
- magazines for automatic weapons;
- revolver;
- rifled and smooth hunting weapons;
- over 6.5 thousand rounds of various calibers;
- 35 grenades;
- fallen;
- mine;
- TNT block;
- knives;
- anti-tank guided missile;
- thermal imager;
- other military equipment.
The man was informed of suspicion of illegal handling of weapons and ammunition (Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code). The court chose a preventive measure for him in the form of house arrest at night while the prosecutor’s office prepares an appeal.
Pre-trial investigations are ongoing, the channels of supply of weapons and other persons involved in this offense are being established.
