In the evening, Russian militants struck one of the microdistricts of the regional center of the Kherson region.

As a result, two residential buildings caught fire at once. The press service of the State Emergency Service of Kherson reported this today, September 23.
The fire has already been extinguished; three units of equipment and 16 rescuers were involved in the fight against the fire.
Earlier today, the Telegram channel of the Kherson OVA reported that two Kherson residents were injured as a result of Russian shelling:
- A 65-year-old woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries. She was killed by an enemy shell in the courtyard of her own house;
- A 27-year-old man was injured. The victim was provided with medical assistance and will undergo further treatment on an outpatient basis.
