Almost 20 days without humanitarian corridors in the city. From all sides the community was surrounded by enemy troops.
Approximately 20 thousand residents of the city of Izyum in the Kharkiv region should be evacuated to the village. This was announced on Thursday night, March 31, by Deputy Mayor of Izyum Vladimir Matsokin.
“About 15-20 thousand citizens need the fastest evacuation from Izyum. The green corridors are not coordinated, they are gone for almost 20 days,” the official said.
According to him, on March 31, 2,500 residents of the Izyum region were evacuated. At the same time, no one fled the city itself.
As reported, Anatoly Fomichevsky, a representative of the Izyum City Council from the Opposition Platform for Life Party, led Russian troops into the besieged city, directing them to an unprotected road.
At the same time, active fighting continues near the city.
