Zelensky praised the new US aid package

Vladimir Zelensky and Joseph Biden discussed defense support for Ukraine and further cooperation for the benefit of both countries and the whole world.

During Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s visit to the United States, new agreements were reached that will strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities. The Ukrainian leader himself announced this on Thursday, September 21.

Vladimir Zelensky thanked the US President for announcing a new package of military aid to Ukraine.

“A very powerful package. It has exactly what our soldiers need today,” the Ukrainian head of state said.

He expressed hope for continued support from the United States in strengthening the protection of Ukrainian skies, expanding grain export opportunities, implementing the Peace Formula and hosting the Global Peace Summit.

“I thank you, your team, Congress, as well as journalists for disseminating information to society, to the world, for sharing the truth about these tragic events, about this Russian aggression Thank you, Mr. President, for this warm meeting of ours,” said the Head of State.

Vladimir Zelensky emphasized that today’s negotiations are powerful and important.

US President Joe Biden approved a new aid package for Ukraine. It will include artillery, ammunition and anti-tank weapons.

The United States remains committed to supporting Kyiv in its defense against Russian aggression.
