The United States will not transfer long-range ATACMS missiles to Ukraine in an upcoming aid package.
The United States of America has not yet transferred long-range ATACMS missiles to Ukraine, but this issue may appear on the agenda in the future. This was announced by the National Security Advisor to the President of America, Jake Sullivan, in a briefing on September 21.
“US President Joe Biden has decided that he will not provide ATACMS to Ukraine, but he will not take it off the table in the future,” the official said.
Sullivan also said the Abrams tanks will arrive in the coming days and weeks on schedule. However, he added that he would not divulge the details for security reasons.
Let’s recall that the previous President Vladimir Zelensky said that Ukraine and the United States “are at the finish line” for the supply of ATACMS missiles.
