It was learned that the militants entered the church, where they fired at parishioners and detonated explosives.

Several children were among the victims, according to a local official. The militants also kidnapped the priest. The exact number of deaths is currently unknown.

It was previously reported that there were riots and clashes on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. More than 150 people were injured.
