The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook on Wednesday morning.
At night, the occupiers attacked Ukraine with 24 kamikaze drones of the Shahed-136/131 type, of which 17 were destroyed by Ukrainian air defense systems, the report says.
Defenders of Ukraine added that information about the consequences of this terrorist attack is being clarified.
Let us remind you that last night the invaders launched several groups of attack drones across Ukraine from different directions. An air raid alert was announced in the north, east and south of the country and in Kyiv. Around 5:00 the air raid warnings sounded in all areas. Subsequently, it became known that the Oil Refinery in Kremenchug in the Poltava region was hit. There was a fire there. The plant’s operations have been temporarily suspended.
