This is evidenced, in particular, by the identified rocket fragments seized at the scene of the tragedy, the press service of the department told the Public.
The SBU is conducting an investigation, a source in the service said.
According to the investigation conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine, on September 6, the Russian occupiers struck the market in Konstantinovka with an S-300 – such a comment was received from the Security Service by Ukrayinska Pravda.
Let us recall that The New York Times published an investigation stating that the attack on Konstantinovka in the Donetsk region on September 6, which killed 15 people, was probably carried out by a Ukrainian air defense missile fired from the Buk system. The publication suggests that a “tragic accident” occurred: the missile could have malfunctioned and fell without hitting the target.
Journalists note that they analyzed eyewitness testimony, publications on social networks, satellite images, traces of the impact at the site, rocket debris, as well as the place near Druzhkovka from where the rocket was probably launched.
The speaker of the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Yuriy Ignat, confirmed that an investigation is underway, but he cannot comment further.
