The StratCom of the Armed Forces of Ukraine responded to the NYT article that there was no Russian shelling at Konstantinovka, but a Ukrainian missile allegedly fell.

The Department of Strategic Communications of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine called on them to wait for the results of the official investigation into the missile attack on the market in Konstantinovka, Donetsk region on September 6, which killed 16 people, reports Ukrainskaya Pravda.

This is exactly how the Ukrainian Armed Forces StratCom responded to the NYT article that the attack on Konstantinovka was a “tragic accident” caused by the fall of an alleged Ukrainian missile, and not an attack by Russia.

“To clarify the circumstances of the missile strike, on September 6 the SBU began criminal proceedings under Article 438 Violation of the laws and customs of war. An official investigation is currently ongoing. Until it is completed, according to by law, commenting on any details of the incident is prohibited and inappropriate.” , – noted the StratCom of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, adding that any comments or assumptions “can and will certainly be used by Russian propagandists.”
