The total number of losses in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 273,460 military personnel. This was stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, published on its Facebook page.

Total enemy combat losses from 02/24/22 to 09/19/23 are approximately:

• personnel – approximately 273,460 (+520) people were liquidated,

• tanks – 4628 (+5) units.

• armored combat vehicles – 8851 (+17) units,

• artillery system – 6062 (+35) units,

• MLRS – 778 (+2() units,

• air defense system – 526 (+1) units,

• aircraft – 315 units,

• helicopters – 316 units,

• UAV of the operational-tactical level – 4784 (+15) units,

• cruise missiles – 1479 (+17) units,

• ship/boat – 20 units,

• submarines – 1 unit,

• automotive equipment and tank trucks – 8601 (+30) units,

• special equipment – 903 (+2).

Note that the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been ongoing since the beginning of June. During this time, we were able to free up more than 240 square meters. km of territory in Zaporozhye and Donetsk regions.

Meanwhile, the US Defense Intelligence Agency has assessed the possibility that the Ukrainian army will break through the Russian defense lines by the end of this year.
