John Kirby said that the US President would prefer that the relevant authorities continue to consider this issue.

Discussions on the possible transfer of long-range ATACMS missiles to Ukraine are still ongoing in the White House. The final decision has not yet been made. This was said by White House Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby, Telegraph reports.

“The President has not said that he will do it, but he still wants the interagency, Department of Defense, State Department, National Security Council to look at ATACMS issues. They are not canceled (the issue – ed.) ,” he explained.

As we previously wrote, four Republican senators wrote an open letter to President Joe Biden calling for the immediate transfer of ATACMS missiles to Ukraine.
