On the night of today, September 18, the Russians attacked the southern regions of Ukraine with several waves of attack drones.

This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine.
It is noted that air defense forces in the zone of responsibility of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine shot down a total of 18 unmanned aerial vehicles of the “Shahed-136/131” type:
- 11 – over Odessa region;
- five over Mykolaiv region;
- two over the Kirovograd region.
The following consequences were recorded:
- getting into the recreational infrastructure of the Vilkovsky community on the Danube. A fire broke out, which was quickly extinguished. No casualties were reported;
- The debris of a downed UAV caused a fire in an unused two-story building in the Snigirevsk community of the Nikolaev region. The fire was quickly extinguished. No people were hurt.
