The comedian recorded a video message in which he denied all the accusations. According to him, all relationships are always through mutual consent.
Katy Perry’s ex-husband, stand-up comedian Russell Brand, has been accused of rape, sexual harassment and emotional abuse. It is reported by different types.
In particular, four women claim to have been harassed between 2006 and 2013. From 2010 to 2012, he was married to an American singer.
So, one of the women said that Russell raped her in a house in Los Angeles on July 1, 2012. After the incident, the girl went to the center to help rape victims. The case file also includes a screenshot of a conversation between the alleged victim and the comedian, in which he wrote, “When a girl says no, she means no,” to which he responded Russell said, “I’m so sorry.”
The second woman said she was 16 when she met Brand (he was over 30 at the time). During the date, she clarified her age again, saying: “I don’t care if you’re 12. I just need to understand how legal it is.” Their relationship lasted about three months, but did not end well – Russell encouraged the girl to have oral sex, during which she almost suffocated.
According to the third victim, Russell threatened to sue her if she told anyone they had a sexual relationship while working together in Los Angeles in 2013. Ex-girlfriend Brenda Jordan Martin also joined the lawsuit. She said she experienced physical and emotional abuse during their relationship.
It was previously reported that the court acquitted Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey of nine charges related to the harassment of four men.
