From the south-eastern and southern directions (Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Chauda), the enemy launched six attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type. Nine Russian Tu-95ms strategic aviation aircraft from the Engels area fired 10 air-launched missiles of the X-101/X-555/X-55 type. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Telegram.
Fighters, anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire groups and other means of destruction were brought in to destroy Russian targets in the air. In total, the Air Force, together with the air defense, shot down 12 targets. Six kamikaze drones and six cruise missiles were destroyed.
The main direction of the attack was the south of the Odessa region. Enemy missiles hit the territory of an agricultural enterprise.
Let us remind you that on September 16, Russian invaders launched five attacks with S-300 missiles on an industrial zone in the Kholodnogorsky district of Kharkov. Five civilians were injured.
