Ivan Fedorov reported that Ukrainian fighters attacked the location where the invaders were based and their equipment.
Defense forces on Saturday, September 16, destroyed the location of Russian military equipment in the temporarily occupied Tokmok. The mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, announced this on his Telegram channel.
“Tokmak sign: more came – fewer invaders. Now in Tokmak, which was turned into a military base by the invaders, it is strong again,” the official wrote.
He added that the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit the base of the invaders and their equipment.
Fedorov also emphasized that as the front line approaches Tokmak, “arrivals” will become more frequent.
The head of the city drew attention to the fact that this week from the city:
-
the “passport office” was evacuated, and the documents were promised to be delivered to Melitopol;
-
FSB officers and part of the so-called “administration” were “heroically” removed.
“Unfortunately, it is not worth saying that the invaders are preparing an ‘act of goodwill’. It is worth helping our army and believing in victory,” concluded Fedorov.
