The defenders intensified their activity on certain islands in the Dnieper River delta, located near the Antonovsky Bridge, in order to strengthen their positions for a future attack on the left bank of the Kherson region. The Russian invaders are alarmed by this. This is discussed in a new report from the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
Military analysts believe that the Russian side does not have the necessary manpower to provide protection on this section of the front. The Russian command previously transferred several units from the Kherson region to the Zaporozhye region.
The enemy recognizes that their army lacks the resources to conduct its own operations to cross the Dnieper to the Antonovsky Bridge area, especially due to the lack of artillery shells.
Let us recall that ISW previously stated that the Russian army suffered significant losses due to insufficient support on the islands in the Dnieper delta in the Kherson region. The military losses caused outrage among the Russian military command.
