The government has amended Resolution No. 168 of February 28, 2022, “Issues of certain payments to military personnel, privates and commanding officers, police officers and their families during martial law.” Increases are provided for wounded defenders and military instructors. The representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk reported this on Telegram.
It is expected that managers and instructors-teachers of educational units, centers and divisions will be paid monthly remuneration from 15 to 30 thousand UAH. The actual amount of additional payments will depend on the position.
Officials also reviewed payments to wounded soldiers who were declared unfit for service by a military medical commission with a review after 6-12 months and who were placed at the disposal of their respective commanders. They will receive the salary for the last position held in full without additional bonus.
In addition, wounded defenders, after being in service for more than two months and until the end of their stay, will be paid a monthly salary according to their military rank, a long service bonus and an additional remuneration in the amount of 20 thousand 100 UAH.
Let us remind you that in the draft state budget for 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers proposes to increase the minimum wage in Ukraine. It is expected that from January 1, the minimum wage will increase to UAH 7.1 thousand, and from April 1 – to UAH 8 thousand.
