The exchange fund is replenished daily thanks to the latest successes of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine. The invaders are captured either as a result of fighting or surrender on their own. And the replenishment of the exchange fund affects the process of dismissal of Ukrainian prisoners of war. On September 15, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andrei Yusov, announced this during a telethon.
Every day we record the arrival of dozens of Russians in Ukrainian captivity. Among them are those captured as a result of hostilities and those who seem to voluntarily,” he noted.
The representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate also added that recently Russians have begun to more often submit applications within the framework of the Ukrainian state program for surrendering I want to live. Previously, there were 70-100 such applications daily, but now there are 170 or more. Currently, a thousand applications are being implemented, and more than 200 are successful cases of withdrawing Russian military personnel from the front line.
Yusov noted that such an effect among the occupiers was provoked by the successful special operation of the Ukrainian military intelligence “Sinitsa”, as a result of which the Russian pilot Maxim Kuzminov flew an Mi-8 helicopter to Ukraine.
Let us recall that on September 10, scouts of the “Steel Border” assault brigade in the Kupyansky direction discovered a hostile observation post on the territory of Ukraine. The enemy position was destroyed, and two occupiers were captured.
