The Ambassador assured Canada’s determination to continue to support Ukraine in the fight against the aggressor, as well as in post-war reconstruction and reforms.
First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova received copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine Natalka Tsmots, the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reports.
Japarova expressed gratitude to Canada for its assistance, sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation, as well as for its active participation in the implementation of Ukrainian initiatives, in particular, the Peace Formula and the International Crimean Platform.
The Ambassador assured Canada’s determination to continue to support Ukraine in the fight against the aggressor, as well as in post-war reconstruction and reforms.
“The parties discussed a number of issues on the bilateral agenda and further steps to strengthen the relations of friendship and special partnership between Ukraine and Canada,” the statement said.
