Since last year, a research team has been studying reported UFO cases but has found no evidence of an extraterrestrial origin.
Independent researchers who, commissioned by the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), studied documented cases of UFOs, found no evidence that they were of extraterrestrial origin. The head of NASA, Bill Nelson, announced this in a press conference, reports CBS News.
“An independent research team at NASA found no evidence that the UFO was of extraterrestrial origin. But we don’t know what kind of UFO it was,” Nelson said.
It was learned that last year, NASA formed a group of 16 experts to study how data on UFOs is collected by government agencies and the private sector. On September 14, they published a 36-page report, Independent Study of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena, which contained several recommendations for how NASA could better facilitate the scientific investigation of UFO encounter situations.
The document states that some UFO sightings “cannot be immediately identified as man-made or natural phenomena.”
It also indicates that studying these phenomena requires new reliable data collection methods, advanced analytical methods, systematic reporting systems, and reduced stigma.
Let’s remember that last year it was reported that the Pentagon was creating an office to track UFOs.
Shocking statements. Congress discussed UFOs for the first time
