Russia is deliberately destroying Ukrainian culture and historical heritage, social infrastructure, residential buildings, the President insisted.
The Russian occupiers are mercilessly attacking Ukrainian cities and they are ready to burn everything – both Orthodox churches and whatever. This was announced on Saturday, June 4, by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his video message.
He stressed that the Russian occupiers have already fired more than 2,500 missiles on the territory of Ukraine.
“This morning, the number of different Russian missiles used against Ukraine is already at 2,503. Our Heroes hold their positions and are doing everything to bring the maximum defeat to the enemy. I am grateful to every defender, every defender approaching the day when Russia will still need to leave Donbass is at peace, ”the Ukrainian leader said.
He stressed that the Russian occupiers were destroying the social institutions, residential buildings, churches and religious, cultural and artistic buildings of Ukraine using their shelling.
“All the facts of the destruction of Russia’s cultural monuments are sufficient grounds for exclusion from the UN and UNESCO,” the president said.
According to the president, Russia has humiliated itself by destroying the cities and citizens of Ukraine, especially by killing innocent and unarmed children.
Zelensky added that the war would stop once someone in Moscow gave such an order.
Recall that the enemy launched four missile strikes from the Tochka-U tactical missile system in the areas of the cities of Bakhmut, Kramatorsk, Konstantinovka and Lisichansk.
