This became known during the broadcast of the event.
The main change in the iPhone 15 is the update to Type-C charging, like all Android smartphones. iPhone 15 features a new design with curved bezels on the sides, a brighter screen with 1,600 nits of brightness (or 2,000 nits at peak brightness), and 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch size options.
The new iPhone 15 comes in five colors.
-
iPhone 15 price starts at $799;
-
iPhone 15 Plus price – from $899;
-
iPhone 15 Pro price starts at $999;
-
iPhone 15 Pro Max price starts at $1,199.
Top versions received a body made of titanium and aluminum alloy. The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max also feature an Action Button, replacing the side button on the frame that previously controlled Sound/Mute mode. With its help, you can turn on the flashlight, camera, switch modes, answer calls, etc.
The base iPhone 15 received a 48-megapixel sensor like last year’s top-end iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. The camera allows you to use a 12 MP lens for 2x zoom and 4K video. The updated iPhone 15 Pro camera has twice the quality of night shots.
Top-end iPhones received a new A17 chipset of Apple’s own design. This chipset is more powerful and faster than its predecessors.
